A weak tone in world wheat markets persisted into 2024, although there were some bullish reactions to cold weather across the Northern Hemisphere in the closing weeks of January.

US Wheat Associates (USW) in its Jan. 19 Weekly Price Report noted that wheat was lower as a lack of supportive news has allowed bearish trends to continue.
